Actually, make that I am so bad at all sports. Ask my step father who has a four handicap at golf to hear how well I play that game! (Actually, don't...it's embarassing). So I started a Ping Pong match with my friends at Analystik and right now they are serving up ACES, if only because I have not had the time to make a proper return. Well I am back baby! Time for me to get back in the game!
Analystik's second post in our ping pong match is here. Voici la traduction en Anglais. I hate to do this, but I actually have to agree with the majority of this post. The key to enterprise mobility is a combination of three things:
- IT Service Management
- Rigorous criteria for solution selection
- Enterprise mobility management
So I am publishing a piece soon for Strategy Analytics on this topic, but the gist of it is that a proper enterprise mobility management strategy has to include the following:
- Procurement strategies
- Mobile device management
- Mobile application management
- Mobile service management
- Mobile security management
- Wireless expense management
- End-user support services
My friends at Analystik have some very good points, especially when they say "train, maximize, regulate, integrate and measure." I say they need an extra piece upfront that looks at a change management plan based upon the principles of IT Service Management.
